I'm curious / hopeful one or multiple Bessie Rhodes parents go for it. I think they have a pretty compelling story that really personifies what is wrong with the D65 admin. They were given incorrect / misleading (at best) information throughout the whole 5th Ward School approval process and were left out to dry. The Bessie Rhodes dad who spoke at the meeting on Monday noting that most Bessie Rhodes students don't live in the 5th Ward further shows they are still being lied to given how the Board continues to push that narrative. I think his comments about the feasibility of combining Bessie Rhodes / King Arts was interesting too, and highlights the Board had / still doesn't have some type of long term plan with school closings / opening a new school.
