I still believe that the oversight was so lax that as they start digging into the books things are actually far worse. I am curious what you get back. Factually, it would definitely cost more to pause and restart because of having to do bids, inflation, etc. No one needs a big analysis for that understanding. But Grossi is not a dumb guy. So if he proposed it, one would conclude it is a trade off he thinks is important to consider because of other obligations or requirements the district has/will have. One of the board members referred to “one line” in the memo that she insinuated is causing the majority of issues.
